Fuck Cancer!

On October 8th of 2018 I recieved a diagnosis for my doctor that really shocked me. I had been seeing them with some regularity because of unexplained loss. That weight loss led the the discovery that I was anemic. They took blood samples every couple weeks for a couple months, trying to figure out why I was anemic. It was discovered that I have acute myloid leukemia. That explains the weight loss, and some of the other symptoms I had going on.

I started induction chemo soon after on October 11th. I had a couple points where I was just really not doing well. I still managed to knit three hats for the month that I was hospitalized. I needed them, my head is cold and bald now.
